Classical Guitarist Returns

Visit the Belle Isle Library on Tuesday, June 12 at 7pm to hear Michael Nigro perform “Sounds of the South American Guitar”. This will be Michael Nigro’s third concert at the Belle Isle Library, located at 5501 N. Villa

“We are so glad that Michael has chosen to return to Belle Isle during this concert tour,” said librarian Ann Meeks.  “He has developed quite a fan base in Oklahoma City due to his appearances here.  In addition to being a great guitarist, Michael is also a terrific entertainer who establishes a special rapport with his audience.”

The artist is currently on the faculty at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California where he is head of the guitar department.

Nigro will be playing pieces from his new CD, “Guitar Sudiamericana,” which will be available to purchase and autographing.  The concert is suitable for all ages.
