Tree Care Workshop at Belle Isle Library
You can’t survive an Oklahoma winter without preparing for it in advance. The same goes for your trees.
Alanna McFarland, a representative from the State of Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, will present a workshop Thursday, Oct..18, from 7:00 to 8:00pm at the Belle Isle Library, 5501 N. Villa. She will be discussing basic tree care, pruning, storm recovery, and planting.
“We’re really happy to have Alanna join us again for another program,” said librarian Ann Meeks. “She’s been here before and the library customers who attended her last workshop told me that they went home with a lot more knowledge about tree care than they had when they got here.”
The workshop is free to the public and suitable for all ages. Please pre-register at the Belle Isle Library reference desk or call 843-9601.
