Vegan Recipes Presented at Del City Library

Do you like tasty and healthy food, vegan-style?

If the answer to those questions is a resounding “Yes!” make plans to visit the Del City Library, 4506 SE 15th, from 6:30 to 7:30pm on Tuesday, October 30, when librarian and amateur cook Sam Weehunt will show you how to whip up some tasty vegetarian recipes.

“I’m not a practicing vegan,” Weehunt admitted, “but I’ve discovered that some vegetarian recipes are absolutely delicious!

“I think that a lot of people who have never sampled vegan cuisine assume that it is bland and tasteless, but nothing could be further from the truth.  This isn’t your old fashioned soy burger we’re talking about.”

The session is for adults and is open to the public.  Space is limited so pre-register by calling the Del City Library at 672 1377.

Bon appetit.
