Create Artistic Gift Wrapping at Capitol Hill Library
Why should just the gift inside the wrapping be a thing of joy? Why not the wrapping, too?
Think of all the gift wrapping paper that gets torn from the package and then discarded without so much as a second look. Come to the Capitol Hill Library’s “Wrap It Up!” program and learn how to make a beautiful work of art with which to wrap your gifts. The program will be on Thursday, December 10 from 6:30 to 7:15pm.
“’Wrap It Up!’ is mainly for children between the ages of four and twelve,” said librarian Jennifer Jones, “but adults who will be helping the little ones with their wrapping are invited, too. The giving of gifts is one of the most joyful parts of the holidays, and we want to make the experience of giving even better than it already is.”
The Capitol Hill library is located at 334 SW 26th. If you have questions about this or any other library event, or to pre-register, please call 634-6308, or visit the MLS website at www.metrolibrary.org.
