Justin Witte Concert At Belle Isle Library
There’s a bluesy, folksy, soulful quality to Justin Witte’s voice and music that will remind many listeners of Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
Join Justin Witte for “Blues at Belle Isle Library” on Sunday, July 12, 2009, from 2-3pm.
“Justin plays acoustic blues guitar,” said Belle Isle librarian Ann Meeks. “He also plays a mean harmonica. He released his first CD, ‘Projections and Reflections,’ earlier this year and is working on his second.”
After the fireworks and exuberance of Independence Day, settling back with the quiet sound of the blues will rejuvenate listeners.
“This is just good old fashioned, personal music that is suitable for all ages,” Meeks added.
