Teen Lock-In at Midwest City Library an After Christmas Treat

Are you getting what you really want for Christmas?  To be locked up in a library overnight?  No?  Well, has the Midwest City Library got a deal for you.

“Oh yes, it’s that time again,” laughed librarian Suzette Felton.  “Our annual Lock-In for teens ages 10-18 will be overnight from 8:30pm on Monday, December 28, to 7am on Tuesday, December 29.  We’ll play games, enjoy some snacks, and just a lot of all ‘round fun.”

Overnight library lock-ins are popular programs in several communities.  They give teens the opportunity to mix and mingle, and the participants even go home when it’s over realizing that libraries can be fun places that are good for more than just book reports and research papers.

The End of the Year Lock – In will be at the Midwest City Library, 8143 E. Reno.  Registration and a signed permission slip are required for all attendees. For more information, please call 405-732-4828.
