Annual Health Fair set for Midwest City Library
It’s time for the 2010 Midwest City Library Community Health Fair.
This year’s edition of the annual event will be held at the Midwest City Library, 8143 E. Reno on Saturday, August 21, 2010, from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.. The fair will be held on the library’s parking lot.
“It’s for people of all ages,” said librarian Suzette Felton. “Our goal is to educate the community regarding health issues and the various ways of addressing them.”
Participants at the Health Fair can receive free immunization shots, and screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure, hearing and vision from the Lions Mobile Screening Unit. Representatives from AARP will also be on hand to answer questions.
