“Back to School” is Flavor of the Month
At Capitol Hill Library
If you asked a random group of kids if they liked ice cream more than they like school, you know how the majority would vote.
But the Capitol Hill Library, 334 S.W. 26th Street, will be lessening the back-to-school blues for kids on Wednesday, August 18th, with a Back to School Ice Cream Social for kids and teens. The party kicks off at 4:00p.m. and lasts for one hour.
“Here’s a chance for everyone to be cool in more ways than one,” said librarian Jennifer Jones. “The ice cream social will also give new kids in the neighborhood the chance to see some of the faces they’ll soon see in the halls.”
The event is free for children and teens. Call 634-6308 with questions. For more information about this or any Metropolitan Library System program, visit the MLS website, www.metrolibrary.org.
