Homework Help Available at Southern Oaks Library

Homework.  You hate it.  You have to do it.  But you don’t have to let it get the better of you.

Once again this semester, the Southern Oaks Library, 6900 S. Walker, (405) 631-4468, is offering Homework Help from 4-6pm on Tuesday afternoons.  Help will be available for students in grades 1-5.

“You won’t find many adults whose eyes don’t glaze over when you mention homework to them,” said Southern Oaks librarian John Hilbert.  “They may not have had to do anything that looked like homework for 30 years, but they still remember how much they hated it.”

How much easier would homework be if you had someone to help out?  Not do it for you—that would be too easy.  But a little help is legal and makes a good learning experience.

“Our Homework Help will be available on Tuesdays from 4 to 6pm,” Hilbert added, “except for March 16, 23, and 30th.  Give us a call and we’ll see what we can do to help.”
