Laugh Your Way to Better Health at the Belle Isle Library

Are you tired?  Troubled?  Up-tight?

Maybe it’s time to loosen up with laughter.  What have you got to lose?  Make plans to visit the Belle Isle Library, 5501 N. Villa, from 7 to 8:30pm on Tuesday, February 16, for “Laugh Out Loud—Laughter Yoga Workshop With Laughter Coach Tyler Slater.”

“Even grouchy people like to laugh,” said Belle Isle librarian Ann Meeks.  “Of course, you may have to trick them into it.  But we won’t be doing much tricking during ‘Laugh Out Loud.’  Tyler is great at showing everyone how laughter can be used to control stress and mood, especially in times like these when it seems as if nothing can help lighten our load.”

This is not one of those sessions that calls itself a yoga workshop but is really just an excuse for someone to tell a string of old jokes.  Laughter Yoga is the recipe that combines useful amounts of playfulness, cheerfulness, and relaxation to manage stress and transform your life.

“Laugh Out Loud—Laughter Yoga Workshop With Laughter Coach Tyler Slater” is suitable for all ages, and the workshop is free and open to the public.  Questions?  Call 843-9601.
