Second Sunday Concert Series Continues at Downtown Library

The melodies linger on as the Metropolitan Library System’s series of concerts continues in November and into the new year.

The autumn concert features DuoFisher presenting “The Joy of Piano Duets” at the Downtown Library, 300 Park Avenue, on Sunday, November 14, at 2:00p.m.  The presentation will be in the 46th Star Auditorium on the library’s fourth floor.  Doors open for seating at 1:30p.m.  The concert is free and suitable for everyone.

“I’ve heard DuoFisher before,” said librarian Darlene Browers, “and I just love them.  They will have the audience laughing, crying, and remembering the good old days as they play classical to pop selections, and everything in between.”

This is the final Second Sunday Concert of 2010.  The next one will be presented on January 9, and will be a piano concert featuring Polish pianist Marcin Parys.
