“Secret Agent 23 Skidoo” Brings Positive Hip-Hop to MLS Libraries

Who is Secret Agent 23 Skidoo?  A spy?  An international Man of Mystery?

No, he’s the king of Kid Hop and he’s presenting the Metropolitan Library System’s Spring Fling programming March 14 – 19 at 12 MLS venues around Oklahoma County.

What is “Kid Hop”?  “That” it says on Secret Agent 23 Skidoo’s webpage, “is where kids meet hip hop without compromising either one. This is accomplished through full respect for both the traditions of hip hop and the magical world of childhood.”

But parents needn’t worry.  Although his sound is “all grown up,” his message for kids is sunny and positive.

“These kids songs are awesome,” said Philadelphia kids radio host Kathy O’Connell.  “The songs stay positive no matter what’s going on in the world.”

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo’s programs are free and open to the public.  For more information, please call (405) 606-3833, or visit the MLS website, www.metrolibrary.org
