Warm up a winter Sunday with some cool jazz.
The Belle Isle Library, 5501 N. Villa, presents “Michael Fresonke Valentine’s Day Concert” on Sunday, February 6, at 2:00p.m. It’s a free concert that says, with an upbeat tempo, “Be My Valentine.”
“We’re very excited that Michael Fresonke and his group accepted our invitation to perform at the Belle Isle Library,” said librarian Ann Meeks. “We’ve had several jazz bands and singers perform here in the past and they are always a hit. This is a great neighborhood for jazz.
“The music is timeless, and there’s nothing like hearing it performed live by a great group,” Meeks said.
“Michael Fresonke Valentine’s Day Concert” is free and open to the public. The performance is suitable for all ages. Call Belle Isle Library at 843-9601 for more information.
