The Metropolitan Library System’s popular Second Sunday series of concerts continues during the summer with three programs, one each in June, July and August.
The series kicks off with Cellist Eman Chalshotori on June 12, followed by master pianist Wayne McEvilly on July 10, and concluding with Gary S. Pratt on August 14. Performances are on the second Sunday of each month at 2:00p.m. in the 46th Star Auditorium on the fourth floor of the RJN Downtown Library, 300 Park Avenue. The performances are free and open to the public. Seating is limited and the doors open at 1:30p.m.
“The three concerts in this series,” said Downtown librarian Wendy Gabrielson, “are all wonderfully varied, from the classical piano of audience favorite Wayne McEvilly to the original and traditional country and western of Gary Pratt.”
